We are delighted to announce the appointment of Trevor Debenham as Managing Director. This move allows Giles Drewett, founder of Plant-Ex, to take up the position of CEO with a clear focus on continued global growth.
Established in 2010 and headquartered in Avonmouth, UK, Plant-Ex has grown from a one-person operation into a medium-sized organisation with a team of over 120 people across sites in the UK, Poland, and Turkey. The company has ambitious growth targets across the UK, European, and US markets for flavour and colour solutions within the food and beverage sector, following capacity investment exceeding £9 million.
Strengthening Leadership for the Next Phase of Growth
Trevor Debenham joins Plant-Ex from a strong food industry background, most recently serving as Business Unit Director at Somerdale International Limited, a £54 million turnover business within the dairy sector. A Chartered Certified Accountant with extensive operational experience, Trevor will take responsibility for Operations, Finance, HR, and ESG.
Giles Drewett will focus on Product and Design Innovation, Sales and Marketing, while continuing oversight of overseas sites and global opportunities.
